Aruze Gaming expands gaming licenses to Cyprus and Greece
July 3, 2018
Aruze Gaming America, Inc. (“Aruze”) announced that on May 15, 2018, the Cyprus National Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission granted Aruze a certificate to operate and supply gaming machines in the Republic of Cyprus Integrated Casino Resort (“ICR”) and its subsidiaries. Additionally, on April 27, 2018, Hellenic Gaming Commission approved Aruze to operate as a gaming related contractor in Greece.
“We at Aruze are excited to expand our footprint in Europe,” said David Meacher, Aruze Gaming’s Director of Business Development for Europe. “These jurisdictions offer amazing opportunities for us. While Greece has a mature gaming market that is opening up to new licenses, the Republic of Cyprus is allowing them for the first time.”
Cyprus is poised to become a major gaming location in Europe. City of Dreams Mediterranean, located in Cyprus, is expected to be the largest casino in Europe when it is completed.
