GeoLocs teams up with female-focused online casino Betty
GeoLocs will provide geolocation verification services to the provider
mkodo has agreed a deal to provide its geolocation verification service GeoLocs to Betty, a female-focused online casino.
Betty will integrate GeoLocs as its dedicated iGaming geolocation service for its Ontario offering.
GeoLocs, which was specifically developed for the North American gaming market, allows operators to ensure they are operating in licensed jurisdictions as well as providing users with a seamless journey, eliminating the need for additional download or companion apps.
“We are excited to announce that we have partnered with mkodo and GeoLocs to provide geolocation services for our platform. Our primary goal is to ensure our players have the best user experience possible while playing on Betty.ca,” said Betty Co-Founder and CEO Justin Park. “This partnership allows us to offer our players a genuinely unique and mobile-first online casino experience. Furthermore, it ensures that we remain compliant with Ontario’s regulations.”
GeoLocs was initially only available to mkodo clients before launching externally in 2023, Last month Ellipse Entertainment announced it would be utilising the product for its Ontario-based iGaming brand High Flyer Casino.
According to mkodo, GeoLocs guarantees and assures operators that they are providing responsible and compliant gaming to their customers while addressing the unique challenges faced by iGaming operators.
“The partnership with Betty and GeoLocs is really exciting for both parties. We’re pleased to be supporting an innovative online casino like Betty, looking for new and innovative ways to bring entertainment to the iGaming space, which aligns with mkodo and our mobile-first approach to betting and gaming. We’re excited for Betty to offer their players the best user-experience for geolocation verification as they launch in Ontario,” added mkodo Managing Director Stuart Godfree.
Betty’s seeks to change the game
Betty Casino launched in Ontario in February 2023 with the aim of making the iGaming experience more entertaining and enjoyable for players, such as women, who felt neglected by more traditional sportsbook-based brands.
Operating solely in the province, it has experienced revenue growth of 30% month on month since commencing operations.
In the opening months of 2024 it announced that it had raised $5 million in pre-series A funding led by CEAS Investments and also agreed a deal with Stakelogic to host its range of online slots and live casino products.
